Despite a series of local protests, Point Pizza prepared to close its doors on New Year’s Eve. Last week, prior to the closure, owner Hyesong Oh and her daughter, Shi Young Kim, expressed mixed emotions.
“I really appreciate all the rallies and everything everyone has done for us,” Oh said. “I am really sad I am leaving.” Kim added: “I think it’s more surreal then anything else. We almost can’t believe it’s happening.”
