The Malibu GU12 Extra/Tournament team dominated the Oxnard Sports Festival earlier this month, winning all four games, at Fremont Park in Oxnard.
The team earned a decisive 7-0 victory over the Thousand Oaks team before beating their rival Valencia team 6-1 on the first day. The second day the girls won 4-0 in a game versus the Ventura team, followed by a dramatic 2-1 victory over the Duarte/Arcadia team to earn the championship title.
This is the team’s second consecutive tournament win.
