Paradise Cove hosts Paddleboard Race

More than 350 people attended the Los Angeles Waterkeeper’s annual Stand-Up For Clean Water paddleboard race at Paradise Cove. The event raises awareness about water quality issues and the importance of clean water. The event featured a fivemile competitive race, one-mile fun race and a relay race.

Among those who attended were surfers and paddlers, including Mickey Munoz, Sam George, Jamie Mitchell and Jim Terrell. After the race, participants received food and drinks, donated by the Paradise Cove Beach Café and New Belgium Brewing, while listening to live music.
