Local Malibu author Michael Graham shoots up the fiction bestseller list with his well-received first novel, “Snow Angel.” Also, local T Cooper holds steady with the paperback edition of “Lipshitz Six.” In nonfiction, Malibu’s One Book, One City selection, “Grayson,” is No. 1 following her appearance this weekend at the kickoff event, where she wowed the crowd with her amazing tales of endurance and vision. New to the nonfiction list is journalist Larry Kane’s “Lennon Revealed,” his take on John Lennon based on his 20-year friendship with the musician. For children, the beautifully imagined and illustrated novel by Brian Selznick, “The Invention of Hugo Cabret,” jumps onto the list. And, everyone’s current favorite pop-up, “Dog” by Matthew Fleet, sits wagging its tail in the No. 1 spot.
