In their final preparation for the Cal South State Cup Tournament, the Conejo Valley United Soccer Club defeated the Santa Clarita United Soccer Club 4-1 to qualify for the Championship at the Santa Barbara Spring Classic Tournament held on the U.C. Santa Barbara campus. Former and current Malibu AYSO Soccer All-Stars Briar Blake, Karena Thompson, Casey Conrad, Danica Downing and Riley Waldman joined the Agoura AYSO All-Stars to form the CVU Soccer Club GU14 Red Rockets. In less than one season together, the team has collected four championships and three finalist awards in nine tournaments to go along with a 13-1 league season record and a division title.
