Several hundred students at Webster Elementary School participated in its annual Jog-a-thon last week to raise money for their school.
The Jog-a-thon was capped off this year with old-fashioned field day events: three-legged, egg-on-a-spoon and potato sack races; water-balloon tosses; tug-of-war and a wheelbarrow race. The day dawned bright and clear, after two prior dates were rained out. All money raised benefits the Webster PTA, which pays for personnel, programs and projects no longer funded by tax dollars.
