Author Visits Malibu Book Club

Author Ken McAlpine visited the Malibu Book Club Women meeting that took place on Feb. 20. McAlpine wrote the club’s recent selection, “Islands Apart,” a book that describes his experiences of discovery and self-discovery while visiting each of the Southern California Channel Islands.

Questions and answers followed a brief presentation where McAlpine explained his insights and passion for the Channel Islands to the group.
