Malibu High School incoming senior Jessica Phillips presents a $4,000 donation to Irma Seilicovich, co-founder of The Village Family Services. Jessica was a participant in the Community Youth Foundation, which gives teens actual experience in philanthropy. Jessica chose to research The Village Family Services, which, in part, helps reunite families of children who have suffered abuse. Jessica was able to convince the Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles to provide a $4,000 grant to The Village.
