This holiday season, local nonprofit Children’s Lifesaving Foundation is hosting four holiday parties for Los Angeles’ low-income and at-risk youth at Malibu Webster Elementary School. More than 500 children are attending the parties.

One of the parties took place on Saturday and was sponsored by Disney and Baby Einstein. Dynasty Fashions, Topson-Downs, Kayo, California Supply and the Robb Report also donated and organized the event.

Each child was given a gift bag with six toys, which were donated through toy drives at the local public elementary schools and donations from Jakks Pacific, Mattel, and Malibu and Valley families. Children were entertained by magicians, face painters, Santa Claus and Disney characters. The children were also provided with In-N-Out Burger made-to-order lunches, carnival games and crafts.

Webster Elementary’s auditorium was transformed into a Winter Wonderland. Each child left the party with a personalized gift bag filled with great toys, their wish lists and fun holiday crafts.

Families in the CLF Adopt-A-Family Program are sponsored by Malibu-area families. An anonymous Malibu angel helped with financial support for the Dec. 10 event and to further assist the CLF to help more needy families this season. Additional toys will be delivered to the Inglewood Parks and Recreation Department and given to inner-city children during Christmas week.
