Former Malibu Resident Releases Book

Lisa Bleich, former Malibu resident, returns to sign copies of her new book. 

Lisa Bleich (formerly Lisa Lickhalter), daughter of longtime Malibu resident Tanis Lickhalter, is releasing a book on April 1, “Surviving the College Application Process: Case Studies to Help You Find Your Unique Angle for Success.” Bleich attended Webster Elementary, Malibu Middle and Santa Monica High Schools (Malibu High School did not yet exist). 

She attended Brandeis University and Harvard Business school, earning a degree in marketing. Bleich is founder and president of College Bound Mentor, which is a company designed to help high school students get into the college of their choice. 

Bleich will be returning to the Malibu area to host a book signing and talk at the Santa Monica Barnes & Noble on April 13 at 2 p.m.
