Malibleu Gallery will host an opening reception on Aug. 16 for “Wavelength,” an exhibition showcasing the work of several artists. The group show will feature pieces by up and coming artists, including Brooke Harker. Harker has shown her work throughout Los Angeles, as well as internationally in China, Germany, Poland, Australia and the Philippines. She is known as a cityscape artist and can be found painting in her outdoor studio or live on location around the globe.
Photographer Scott Tansey will also display his work at the show, featuring aerial views of Malibu. Tansey also has a solo show at Leica Gallery in West Hollywood titled “Los Angeles Panoramas.”
Malibleu Gallery is located at 21201 Pacific Coast Hwy. and the reception will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The pieces will be displayed through Sept. 30.
