Malibu’s Top Ten Books

Now number one on Diesel, A Bookstore’s fiction bestseller list, followed by its first published book “Read ‘Em and Weep” in the nonfiction list, is “Cheyenne Rising Sun,” by John Kuri. Another local in the number three spot is Bob Dylan’s “Chronicles.” Although his book signing in Malibu was cancelled due to the flu, Dennis Banks’ new autobiography is ninth on the nonfiction list.

The big new book that everyone is reading and is hard keeping in stock locally and throughout the country is, “It’s He’s Just Not That Into You.” Many of the women who read it insist men should read it too. The surprise sleeper is “Yiddish with Dick and Jane,” a hilarious takeoff on the classic early reader, incorporating Yiddish words and phrases on every page: well-designed, funny and charming.
