The Malibu boutique scene is known for its high-end and unique finds, which is why the opening of Hiptique at the Trancas Country Market will entice Malibuites looking for that personal and local shopping experience.

The beach-inspired boutique opened its Malibu location in late May 2017 and offers California coastal-inspired clothing, intimates, swim apparel, jewelry, giftables and home décor. When asked about selecting this location, owner Christine Berardi said a longtime customer at the shop’s Santa Monica location consistently requested they open a Malibu store.

They chose the Trancas Country Market, located across from the iconic Zuma and Point Dume beaches, to complement the boutique’s beachy vibe.

“The theme of Hiptique…was always to be in communities where we can cater to locals,” Berardi described. “We want to know our customers by name, their likes and dislikes, and to become part of their routines, even if it’s just to pop in and say ‘hello.’”

Hiptique aims to be more than just another clothing store, hosting events with local musicians and fundraisers for local charities, and even occasionally offering yoga on the Trancas Lawn.

The uniquely Malibu ambiance of Hiptique encourages shoppers to slow down and take a breather with its light, airy atmosphere. Berardi’s love of home décor and renovations helped shape her vision for Hiptique as a cozy beach lifestyle space specifically catering to women who live, work and play at the beach.

So, if you’re looking for that perfect bikini or piece of beachy home décor, stop by Hiptique at the Trancas Country Market located at 30745 Pacific Coast Hwy, C-15A.
