Gains in medical care

The Board of Directors of the “Friends of Malibu Urgent Care Center” thanks the citizens of Malibu, the Malibu City Council and St. John’s Hospital for their donations and support over the past two years. As a result, the community of Malibu has been provided 400 extra hours of medical care availability along with new medical technology. This technology has allowed our clinic to provide a higher quality of medical care to the community at large. We have added everything from new state of the art x-ray technology, an emergency generator, and heart defibrillators, just to name a few.

Providing walk-in medical care has saved lives as well as treated common medical maladies. We have served the community of first responders as well as teachers with free flu shots and have delivered health care for a fee and some cases for free. By helping “Friends,” you have helped to provide something that this sometimes isolated community could never have afforded. For that, all of us in the community have been well served.

We are proud of this year’s progress and we look forward to growing the scope of Urgent Care services and hours. With your continued help, we will expand on what we have started. Thank you all, again, for your tax deductible contributions. We hope you will continue your support in any way that is suitable by continuing to give. Our address is: Friends of Malibu Urgent Care Center, 9595 Wilshire Blvd., Suite #1001, Beverly Hills, CA 90212. (310) 456-0512.
