“People get the government they deserve,”  French political philosopher Jean Jacques Rousseau said 200 years ago. Clearly, it appears that the Republican Party is getting the candidate it deserves.

As an independent voter, I believe I have been short-changed and denied the opportunity of a choice. What we are witnessing is Hitlerian. 

Wake up, America. Learn the lessons of the past.
