U.S. Navy Commanding Officer Captain Chris Cegielski will be visiting Malibu this month. Cegielski, who anchored his guided missile destroyer off Malibu Pier in 2011, now serves as the U.S. Navy’s incoming Commanding Officer of the Guided Missile Cruiser USS Lake Champlain (CG 57). 

The Malibu Navy League will welcome Capt. Cegielski on Oct. 15 with a dinner and briefing at Casa Escobar restaurant.
