The National Weather Service has forecasted a chance of showers in what will otherwise be a sunny weekend in Malibu.
Despite a 50 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms, Friday is expected to be partly sunny with a high near 84. Friday night is anticipated to be partly cloudy with a 20 percent of rain and thunderstorms. The low is expected to be near 63.
Saturday is forecasted to be sunny with a high near 83. Saturday night is expected to be mostly clear with a low near 59.
Sunday is also forecasted to be sunny. The high is projected to reach near 85. Sunday night is expected to be mostly clear with a low 56.
The National Weather Service has released a special weather statement saying, “Persons planning on outdoor activities over the area should closely monitor the weather and be prepared to take shelter at the first sign of threatening weather.”
