Jupiter transits into fiery, headstrong Aries on the 5th for three months (and again from Jan. 22-June 3, 2011), which will blaze a trail of new ideas and technologies. What’s more, the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction from the 8th through about the 21st will intensify this innovative energy, while adding some extremism to the mix. On a personal level, it can prompt you to expand upon the area of your life being touched by Jupiter (read your sun and ascendant signs below for details).

In other cosmic news, the Mars-Neptune opposition on the 4th can muddy your sense of direction, at least until Mars enters analytical, practical Virgo on the 6th. A series of Mercury influences from the 8th-11th accelerate brainpower, especially after Mercury enters Gemini on the 9th. The New Moon in Gemini on the 12th energizes intellectual pursuits as well. Finally, passion sets romance ablaze as Venus enters Leo and connects with Uranus and Jupiter on the 14th-15th.
