Longtime Malibu resident Karen York, co-publisher of The Malibu Times newspaper and magazine, on Nov. 28 had her Bat Mitzvah service at Malibu Jewish Center and Synagogue. Rabbi Judith HaLevy and Cantor Marcello Gindlin presided at the event.
