I am a member of an incessantly growing group of fed-up Malibu taxpayers. Businesses and non-profits are held to high standards when it comes to financial data. The Santa Monica School District should be no different. The Santa Monica School District seems to think they are able to spend the public money and give no accountability. This has to be stopped.
The best way to get involved is to make your voice heard within your local school board and Malibu City Council. The school unions have become the politician’s best friends. The only way to make true change and force our local politicians into true school reform is to ask them to oppose Proposition R or vote them out. If they are not willing to take on the big shocking bully school unions, then they shouldn’t get your support or vote.
Make a difference in Malibu. Support local schools by voting “no” to all Santa Monica School district tax increases. Vote “no” on Proposition R and only support politicians holding office if they are willing to follow your lead.
