Dr. Paul Drew revs it up for good posture.

Whether you’re a local A-lister waltzing down the red carpet or are just bumming around the ‘Bu in UGGs, when it comes to the perfect pose, Paul Drew might have just what the doctor ordered.

Malibu’s popular physical therapist has helped high-profile folks like Jeanie Buss recover from surgeries, breaks and boo-boos, and feel better than ever before.

You’ll find Dr. Drew zipping down PCH on his tricked-out Indian Chieftain motorcycle. Outfitted in a space-age helmet, biking leathers and serious boots, he looks every bit the astronaut as he approaches your door. His fully loaded magic carpet ride is all the better to cross Malibu no time flat.

He’s on the go and in demand, but you don’t need to be a celebrity or even face an injury to get Paul’s advice.

He’s penned a book called “Red Carpet Posture.”

The exercise guide gives you almost everything you need to achieve great glam, which he says begins with great posture.

He got the idea for his instruction manual after working with a client who was a fashion and entertainment writer. Together they started analyzing red carpet celebrities who displayed near perfect posture (local Halle Berry for one) and those who could use help (no names please!)

Doctor D. looked at ways his clients could strike a better pose and a book was born.

From floor exercises to balance and core, this feel-good guide might give you all you need to look red carpet ready.

THE WAY SHE WAS

Someone who always looks red carpet ready is our very own Barbra Streisand, and if you want, get a peak at how this star made it to the stratosphere, check out the limited edition “Barbra: Streisand’s Early Years in Hollywood: 1968-1976.”

It goes back to the time when Lawrence Schiller and Steve Schapiro were hired by movie studio execs to shoot the soon to-be-diva during the first decade of her career. This Tinseltown tome is filled with behind-the-scenes photographs, including prep on Oscar night in 1969 when Barbra picked up the best actress gold for “Funny Girl” and wore that dazzlingly famous Scaasi pantsuit.

Other intimate photos show the star playing with her beloved pooch and serenading son Jason with a private performance.

So what’s Ms. Barbra’s take? It’s a weighty matter. She’s described the collection of personal and public pics as very, very big. “I haven’t had time to look at every page,” she’s said, “But the artful photographs bring back some great memories.”

If you are a die-hard devotee, this $750 dollar read has a lot of Babs for the buck.
