A glittery gathering of young Hollywood hit the Armand Hammer Museum for the 6th Hollywood Style Awards. Locals like Brody Jenner, Amber Valletta and Pamela Anderson joined a red carpet crowd including Hayden Panettiere, Lauren Conrad, Sophia Bush, Selena Gomez, Kelly Osbourne and Kim Kardashian for one fashionable affair.

Hosted by Samantha Harris, the event honors the city’s top celebrities, designers, and stylists. Curvaceous reality show queen Kardashian snagged the Style Siren Award, while Jenner was named this year’s Young Hollywood Style Maker. Also among the honorees, quirky Osbourne, who was feted as a Style Original.

“Dancing with the Stars” pro Cheryl Burke got points for her fancy footwork, A-list designer Max Azria was declared a Fashion Visionary, and, move over “Gossip Girl,” the Most Stylish Television Show went to “Melrose Place.”

As for the guests, you can always count on Pamela Anderson to come up with a flashy fashion statement. The former “Baywatch” babe rocked in a short-in-the-front, long-in-the-back, frilly, pink frock while Lauren Conrad sizzled in a kaleidoscopic mini. Others opted for more classic clothes. Panettiere looked lovely in lavender. Kardashian showed off her famous curves in a simple white wrap dress. Gomez picked out basic black and Osbourne, once one of L.A.’s wildest dressers, looked downright demure in a simple black skirt and white chiffon top. After a dazzling awards ceremony and a lot of great people watching, fashionistas rocked the night away with music by PS1.

ONE BY ONE

Some of Malibu’s most notable names made their way up north for the 2nd Annual ONEXONE fundraiser at San Francisco’s hip 365 Club.

Charlize Theron, Jeremy Piven, David Arquette and Mia Hamm hit the scene with Josh Groban, Carlos Santana and Laila Ali in support of children’s charities. Theron not only attended, she went to work. The Oscar-winning actress helped auction off a two-week vacation to her native South Africa plus tickets to the World Cup. She even threw in a kiss to the lucky winner who snapped up the package for a cool $140,000. Not to be outdone, Piven jumped on stage and urged two guests to pay $140,000 a piece for walk-on roles on his hit show “Entourage.” The evening featured keynote speaker Vicki Escarra, CEO of Feeding America, along with a special headline performance from Snow Patrol. The warm up entertainment wasn’t bad either with performances by Josh Groban, Carlos Santana and Spencer Day as well as Ethan Bortnick, an 8-year old pianist and composer who wrote his own song “It’s For the Kids” in honor of the event. Now that’s one to remember.
