David Andrew Marshall died at his home by the beach Nov. 26, 2011 at the age of 66. He suffered a stroke in 2008 and was working on rehabilitating until his death.
Marshall was born Sept. 13, 1945 to Robert and Marjorie Marshall and he grew up in Venice and Santa Monica.
