Bill McIntyre, 57, died on Thursday, July 5, in Los Angeles.
Bill was born in Santa Monica and grew up in the Pacific Palisades. Bill attended Marquez Elementary School, John Thomas Dye School and Palisades High School. After graduating from Western State College in Gunnison, Colo., Bill worked in finance, eventually operating his own companies in the financial and insurance areas. Bill and his wife Jennifer moved to Malibu in 1992 and managed the very busy lives of four extraordinary sons.
Bill was a dedicated father throughout the years in Malibu. He enjoyed classroom volunteering and after-school activities, while most of his true leadership prevailed as a coach on the courts, fields and pitches of flag-football, basketball, soccer and little league.
“After moving to Westlake Village, Bill continued to share an amazing life with his beautiful family while finding time for many who suffer from addiction and depression,” a loved one said. “Bill had a unique bond with the many people he met and was able to find the silver lining in every cloud. Bill enjoyed the countless friendships he forged and treasured every moment.”
Bill is predeceased by his brother Jim “Jimmy” McIntyre; his sister Melinda McIntyre-Kolpin; and his father James McIntyre, Sr.; and survived by his wife Jennifer Jones McIntyre; sons Morgan, Macon, Madison, and William; mother Gail Randazzo; and two sisters Tracy McIntyre-Fredricks and Tina Kerner Gough (husband Mark).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bill’s memory to the Young Actors Project, a nonprofit that provides professional performing arts training with fantastic productions. A celebration of Bill’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 31, at 6:30 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 32111 Watergate Road, Westlake Village.
