There are many books on this month’s bestseller list that are celebrating new life, as spring arrives. Susie Bright’s edited anthology of the best erotica brings writings from the margins into one fascinating volume. New interest in Wallace Stegner this year has propelled his classic “Crossing to Safety” onto the list. Oprah Winfrey has brought renewed attention to Ekhart Tolle’s “A New Earth,” and the movie of the same name has brought back the beautiful “The Diving Bell and the Butterfly.” On the children’s list, new books in various series have cropped up, a Dr. Seuss edition returns, and some paperback reprints have given last year’s hardbacks new life.
