City of Malibu holiday celebration
The city hosts its annual holiday party, with live music, a photo booth and other activities, on Thursday at City Hall at 4 p.m.
Holiday concert
Malibu Friends of Music perform a Winter Holiday Concert at the Montgomery Arts House for Music and Architecture on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Christmas caroling
Malibu Keep Christ in Christmas concludes its 49th season of caroling at the crèche, by singing holiday tunes at the corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Webb Way on Sunday at 3 p.m.
Christmas Eve church services
• Malibu United Methodist Church has a family service at 4 p.m. and a carols and candlelight service at 8 p.m.
• Malibu Presbyterian Church hosts services at 5 p.m. for families with children followed by an evening service at 7:30 p.m.
• Our Lady of Malibu conducts a family service at 5 p.m. and an evening service at 9 p.m.
• St. Aidan’s hosts a family service, including a special guest, at 5 p.m. followed by a Candlelight Eucharist with choral music and lessons at 10:30 p.m.
Point Dume Santa Sleigh Ride
The 61st Annual Point Dume Santa Sleigh Ride takes place, making stops at various locations along the way, beginning at 5 p.m.
