For her final question of what is the most important issue facing Malibu, Gabrielle spoke of safety on Pacific Coast Highway, saying that something urgently needs to be done to address the speeding.

As to how she feels about winning the crown, Gabrielle said, “It feels absolutely amazing! There was honestly such a strong group of women competing this year, to have won is just a dream come true and I am so elated I get to give back to the Malibu community and represent Malibu at Miss California in January.”

Miss Teen Malibu 2012 Brookman, a 16-year-old junior at Malibu High School, would like to be a cinematographer and art curator.
