A bevy of wine- and music-lovers joined comedian Adam Carolla and his wife Lynette over the weekend in Malibu for a charity launch party celebrating a new flavor of his signature “Mangria” drink.

The backyard bash in Point Dume benefited the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and attracted an eclectic mix of about 300 guests, including Ron Jeremy, Howie Mandel and professional drag racer Melanie Troxel, who all sipped on Carolla’s new white peach and pear-flavored Mangria, along with the original orange-flavored selection.

The new white peach and pear option offers a light, sweet alternative to the original Mangria, which provides a darker, fruitier flavor closer to its almost-namesake, sangria.

And Carolla seems to be ready and willing to launch many more Mangria flavors if the white peach and pear drink is a hit.

“The sky’s the limit when it comes to booze,” he said.

The afternoon was righteously capped off by live music from rocker Susanna Hoffs, blues singer John Popper and rock band Fitz and the Tantrums. Hoffs’ raspy vocals made for a heart-wrenching acoustic performance of “When You Walk in the Room.” Popper’s bluesy voice wowed the crowd, too, especially singing the Blues Traveler hit “Carolina Blues” and busting out all the stops on harmonica.Â
