Malibu Living hosted a Fall Music & Art Party at the Point Dume Plaza on Saturday afternoon. Guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and spirits while viewing art work from local art dealer Brekelle Lavee’ Long’s Flower + Hewes Fine Art Gallery.
Featured artists included Anne Krasner, Walter Redondo, Hessam Abrishami, Thomas Frontini and more. The sun began to set while local alternative rock band Karma Dealers, featuring Shannon Navarro-Mitchell and Michael Mitchell, and singer/songwriter Robben Bixler performed.
“It’s always cool to play at a Malibu community event, and to see all of our friends and enjoy the moment,” the Karma Dealers shared.
The Point Dume Plaza was filled with Malibu locals and visitors who stopped by to listen to the music or take a look at the art work displayed throughout the courtyard and Malibu Living office.
“Malibu Living appreciates artists and musicians and understands how the arts shape our life and give us value,” Malibu Living Office Manager Aubrey Coles shared. “As a performing artist myself, it is vital for me to somehow incorporate music and art into what I am doing now.
A portion of proceeds from the event will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Malibu. The next Malibu Living art and music event will take place this winter.
