Agoura Animal Shelter Pet of the Week: Meet Verona A5709032. Verona is a 1-year-old German Shepherd mix who was a long-stay resident at the Castaic Animal Care Center before transferring to the Agoura Animal Care Center in May. She may be a little shy when you first meet her, but she warms up so quickly and soon becomes the sweetest, most loyal cuddle buddy. Once she trusts you, all she wants is to be by your side.

Verona has spent much of her young life growing up in a shelter, and she has been waiting far too long for a family to call her own. She loves other dogs and is even a playgroup helper dog, showing just how gentle, social, and well-mannered she is. We are truly shocked that this wonderful girl is still waiting for her forever home.
