Your subhead about the Malibu CAN meeting on June 19 is truly an affront on the good residents of Malibu. To state that the meeting was “filled with profanity-laced comments” is simply misleading, misrepresentative and divisive. The truth is that there was one person who said a one-word epithet, and that was the only one throughout the entire meeting.
Your readers can watch the well-organized, highly informative Malibu CAN open to residents and any interested people meeting about the downside of the Malibu Bay Company Deal on channel 15 Thursday, July 2 at 9 p.m., and it will repeat on the following Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday at the same time.
Furthermore, your From the Publisher article, titled “Be careful what you wish for,” clearly shows your true colors when you declare, “Malibu is not, despite what many would like to believe, a rural area any longer.” You’re funny, Bubba. I know you can see more green than clustered development-so put your magic text-wand away now, cause we know you’re smarter.
