The eight annual Chumash Day Powwow and Intertribal gathering took place during the weekend at Bluffs Park, where Native American dancers performed and other special presentations were made.
The theme at this year’s event was Honoring the Ocean. The event is organized by the Malibu Native American Cultural Resources Advisory Committee and the city’s Department of Parks and Recreation.
