About two weeks ago, I went to the Malibu High School Back-to-School night and I want to report about it. Without hesitation, I must say, this was the best ever. I have been through 15 Back-to-School nights and this one, without fail, was the best. It was so well organized! Dr. Kelly was so kind and helped us parents to find our way around. His assistant, Nedra Gray, was exceptionally helpful by printing out another schedule for me, drawing me a map and was my “helping hand” of the evening.
There were also students to guide me and show me to the classrooms, which we had before, but this time, the directions were 100% accurate. The teachers were all so well prepared and there was a sense of “fun” in the air and in the classrooms. The school looked clean and neat. The piece de resistance is that all of my son’s teachers are “e-mail teachers” so I can e-mail them and get answers. As a matter of fact, I already experienced this routine and it works like a charm. All of the teachers e-mailed me back and what a joy that is. This will be a good year! Our school is off to a grand start. Thank you, Dr. Kelly, thank you, Nedra and all others and thank you, teachers, for such an outstanding, excellent job.
