A pre-trial conference for accused murderer Sina Khankhanian was postponed Wednesday until Aug. 18, Jane Robison of the county district attorney’s office said. Khankhanian, 27, has pled not guilty to the charge of murder in the death of 13-year-old Emily Shane. The conference has been postponed several times while the prosecution and defense review psychological testing performed on Khankhanian.
Shane died on April 3 last year, when Khankhanian allegedly drove his car off Pacific Coast Highway, hitting her as she walked home from a friend’s house.
