I love the way politics work. I can see how manipulative and false some people are, and how transparent they are to me. Unfortunately, they do fool some of the people, some of the time. Take the case of Mr. Mazza’s new position, that he is for Safe Routes for Schools. This is the same man that, when the issue came before the city council, demanded that the city withdraw its request for a grant for the Point Dume Safe Routes to School. What a short memory Mr. Mazza has! Or, maybe he has a selective memory. If neither, then the truth is something he takes for granted.
Congratulations to our city for the Chili Cook-Off purchase. In spite of Mr. Mazza’s usual complaining and yelling, calling everyone in his path incompetent. I know incompetence when I see it and it is not our counsel people. Andy and Sharon are Malibu’s true friends.
