Recently opened V’s restaurant + bar will host Southern California Dealers Association President Tom Tait Saturday night to kick off a new valet parking initiative rolling out across Southern California.
V’s, a collaboration between Malibu favorites Vassil Pertchinkov and Yassen Tonev that opened last week, will play host to the kick off of Cadillac’s 2014 Valet Parking Initiative. Tait and Garrett Associates’ Tom Garrett, who helped develop the initiative, will be in attendance at the event, which begins at 6 p.m.
The initiative will place 2014 Cadillacs near the entrance of “upscale eateries throughout the Greater Los Angeles and Orange County area” with a note that reads, “Valet Service Tonight Has Been Provided Compliments of the Southern California Cadillac Dealers,” according to a release.
Cars will be parked around Malibu throughout the month. In addition to the event at V’s on Saturday, there will be cars parked at Geoffrey’s later this month.
V’s opened last week near the Malibu Pier and Surfrider Beach, offering farm-fresh, seasonal California cuisine, including pizzas, pastas, fish and meats. V’s also offers gluten-free options and vegetable and grain dishes. In addition to owner Pertchinkov and co-owner and mixologist Tonev, the staff includes executive chef Chris Bocchino, formerly the owner of Malibu’s Terra Restaurant, and pastry chef Christine Bocchino, two-time winner of the Malibu Pie Festival.
