The Adamson House is offering special holiday tours on Sundays throughout the month of December.

This historic state-owned Malibu landmark located on PCH just east of Malibu Creek was built starting in 1929 for Rhoda and Merritt Adamson, the daughter and son-in-law of the last owners of the Malibu Spanish Land Grant. The land comprising the Malibu Spanish Land Grant would go on to become incorporated into the current City of Malibu. The home is now a National Historic Site and a California Historic Landmark.

The tours offer an opportunity to see the home dressed up for the holidays, as well as enjoy special treats. For a prepaid reservation price of $20 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under, visitors can see family memorabilia exclusively on display for the holiday tours, enjoy refreshments, listen to festive music and receive a wrapped gift, courtesy of the Adamson House Foundation.

Tours run from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and are available on the three remaining Sundays in December: Dec. 15, 22 and 29. For reservations and information, call 310.456.8432, or send an email. Major credit cards and checks made out to MAHF (Malibu Adamson House Foundation) are accepted.
