Students from the Our Lady of Malibu School Musical Theatre Co. introduced show business legend Dick Van Dyke by singing “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” as he took the stage to draw the winning raffle ticket at the Chili Cook-Off. Van Dyke delighted the children and the audience when he not only sang with them, but also spontaneously danced in the style he did when he played Bert in “Mary Poppins.” Prior to the raffle, the OLM music students, accompanied by their director, Beverly Craveiro, performed a medley of songs from “Annie” that OLM presented in May at the Malibu Performing Arts Center.
