The Malibu High School girls cross country team placed third out of 11 schools in the Tri-Valley League Finals on Nov. 5.
Junior and team captain Abby Blackwood placed first overall in the three-mile event with a time of 18:36.14, and freshman Claudia Lane took second in a time of 18:40.01.
The Sharks competed at CIF prelims on Saturday in Riverside.
