The anticipated arrival of the squid boats each December is a thrilling sight enjoyed by many of us along the coast near County Line. The lights in various colors appear as a parade across the night waters. It is an awesome site. At times there are as many as a dozen boats side by side. Friends and family ask to spend the night so they can sit out on the deck and watch the parade.
Although there are some residents who are annoyed by the glare of the night lights, there are also many up and down the coast who enjoy it and are in awe of this colorful spectacle.
