The Calabasas Pumpkin Festival is scheduled to take place on Oct. 17 – 18, causing a road closure along a main route between Malibu and Ventura County.
Lost Hills Road will be closed from Cold Springs Street to Malibu Canyon Road between 5 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 16 and 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 18, according to the City of Calabasas. Malibu motorists are advised to find alternate routes to access the 101 Freeway.
The Pumpkin Festival has been hosted by the City of Calabasas for over 40 years and features several Halloween activities, including live bands, pumpkin-themed food and drinks, a business expo and a costume parade.
