In an announcement on Tuesday afternoon, the Malibu Film Society is set to screen “Black Panther” at 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 20.
“Black Panther,” currently one of the highest-grossing films of 2018, is a Marvel Studios production following the story of a hero with the same name. The film is set in the fictional place of Wakanda in Africa and stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Forest Whitaker, Angela Bassett and Martin Freeman, among others. Most recently, Boseman’s character made a feature in the latest Marvel film, “Avengers: Infinity War.”
