Regarding my letter written to Mark Davis, dean of students at Pepperdine, which was published on Sept. 4, I want to make it clear that it was never my intention to imply or assign blame, motive, or responsibility to the Pepperdine student named in that letter. My sole intent was to indicate to Dean Davis my source of information concerning a situation that impacts the Malibu community.
