As part of its Awards Season Screening Series, the Malibu Film Society announced five reel additions running at Malibu Cinemas: “Moonrise Kingdon,” “Anna Karenina,” “Promised Land,” “Hyde Park on Hudson” and “ParaNorman.”
Those films will be available for MFS, AMPAS, industry guild members and any “plus-ones” to see beginning today through Thursday, Jan. 3, with a special audience question-and-answer screening of “ParaNorman” on Saturday, Dec. 22 at 1 p.m. The animated film’s director and writer Chris Butler will join producer Arianne Sutner and the voice of Norman, Kodi Smit-McPhee, for a Q & A to be moderated by Variety’s Peter Debruge.
