Veronica Dunne, 16, will play the lead role in the production of “Cinderella,” a Modern Musical Extravaganza in the style of a Traditional London Panto, at the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood. She was one of 700 girls who auditioned in a talent search called “Search for Cinderella.”
For the final selection, 30 contestants endured a long and trying audition at the theater with Prince Charming, Freddie Stroma (Harry Potter). The potential Cinderella’s performed in front of notable director and producer Bonnie Lythgoe and Neil Patrick Harris of “How I Met Your Mother.”
