Central park is necessary

I worked as a member of the steering committee for Yes on Measure M, and I had a front row seat on our City Council and mayor in action. I am so proud to live in a city that has leadership in developing the plan and taking it to the people. The welfare of the community was always placed first, without ego or politics.

I personally spoke with over 400 residents who were overwhelmingly enthusiastic about the concept of a central park, apart from the issues involving development. This concept of a central park is too important, too valuable, too essential to our health and well being, so completely right, it must eventually prevail.
