I want to wake up on June 4 and read that Measure S, addressing the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District received a unanimous vote. That result is a pipe dream but a two-thirds vote is within our reach. Our state’s budget crisis has decimated our cities and our schools. With a yes vote, we can partially restore, maintain and insure quality education. With a yes vote, we can help each student reach his or her potential and make education a companion which will accompany each student through his or her life.
