I want to confess that I love The Malibu Times. Yes, they’re a great publication that provides so much information about the Malibu we all want to know about, but there’s so much more they do. They love Malibu back with their huge, caring hearts.
Their annual Dolphin Awards, during which they honor individuals who deserve recognition, is wonderful and we get to know about the people in our community who deserve our appreciation and acknowledgement.
To date, The Malibu Times has had two events to honor and thank the heroes of the Woolsey Fire. Yesterday, Sunday, April 28, at the Malibu Farmers Market, they had yet another event to honor these heroes. The love was almost palpable. But, speaking of love, Arnold and Karen York were in front of their booth with huge smiles while they handed out Dolphin lapel pins, coupons to purchase items at the market, a special heroes certificate and more. A news publication in a small community like ours normally just puts out the news. The Malibu Times is the core and the heart of our community and so much more. Thank you, Karen and Arnold, for loving and caring about us!
