9:20 a.m.: Traffic on the southbound side of Pacific Coast Highway at Topanga Canyon Boulevard saw heavy slowing during Monday’s morning commute.

With a car stalled at the PCH/Topanga intersection, southbound PCH was narrowed down to one left-turn lane and one southbound lane, according to Sgt. Phil Brooks of the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s station.

Motorists first reported the stalled vehicle shortly before 9 a.m. Southbound traffic was backed up as far as Big Rock Drive in Malibu.

Brooks could not estimate how long it would take to get the intersection cleared.
