The Pepperdine women’s basketball team improved to 4-3 in West Coast Conference action Saturday with its second-consecutive victory over Saint Mary’s 58-56.

The Pepperdine win moves its record to 10-10 on the season.

Junior forward Kelli Spencer hit the game-winning jump shot for the Waves with 54 seconds remaining. Senior guard Shandrika Lee led all players with 19 points, while junior center Shannon Mayberry added 11 points and six rebounds.

Pepperdine plays again on Thursday at home against Portland.
